Every year, I have to make room in the Dooley Gardens seedling beds for the next generation of daylilies.
Thousands of seedlings are grown and evaluated as part of my hybridizing program, but only a small percentage are ultimately selected to continue toward possible future introduction. The remaining plants need new homes.
Rather than composting perfectly good daylilies, I offer these seedlings to fellow gardeners for just $5 per division.
What You’re Buying
These are unnamed, unregistered Dooley Gardens seedlings produced through my hybridizing program.
Because every plant originated from seed, each seedling is genetically unique. You won’t be receiving a named cultivar that is being mass-produced or divided from a common stock plant.
These seedlings have simply reached the end of their evaluation within my program and have not been selected for future introduction.
That doesn’t mean they can’t be beautiful garden plants. You may find interesting colors, patterns, edges, forms, or other characteristics among them.
$5 Per Division
Buy one, buy a few, or buy a whole bunch.
There is no quantity limit beyond the number of divisions currently available.
These plants are a great option for:

These $5 seedling divisions are not available for shipping.
All seedlings purchased through this offering must be picked up at Dooley Gardens in Limerick, Maine. Please select Local Pickup during checkout.
If your order includes these seedlings along with other plants, the entire order must be picked up locally.
